GARCIA FAURA assists with the renovation of the Pedralbes Centre

GARCIA FAURA is contributing to the renovation of the Pedralbes Centre, one of the first retail centres which settled in the north of Barcelona, 30 years ago. The works seek to ramp up competitiveness and integration into the urban fabric of the building known popularly as el Dau (the Die).

The renovation will consist in the extension and improvement of office building access points and the adaptation of the commercial area to bring them in line with the current demand trends in terms of layout and offer. The project showcases the completely black facade of pioneering aesthetics at this time.

To this end, GARCIA FAURA will install 1023 square meters of curtain wall in ral 9011 finish (in black). It will have uprights and joists both flush and at different levels that allow cascading gutters, guaranteeing total water-tightness, drainage and evacuation.

Other works that will be carried out by GARCIA FAURA on this iconic Barcelona building will be the installation of 200 square metres of composite panel cladding on walls and doors, and highly technically efficient aluminium access doors.
