The Balfegó tuna business group is building a new processing plant in L’Ametlla de Mar (Tarragona), which will replace the facilities that burnt down in a fire in June 2018. The new factory will feature GARCIA FAURA curtain walls and closures.
In early summer 2018, a fire burnt down 80% of the bluefin tuna fishing company Group Balfegó‘s factory. The company decided to build a new industrial building to maintain its activity in L’Ametlla de Mar, which is currently in the final stages of construction.
For this project, GARCIA FAURA develops, manufactures and installs almost a thousand square meters of curtain walls in different areas of the facilities, fixed or with integrated enclosures.
In addition, about thirty high technical performance enclosures will also be installed, between access doors and windows or balconies. The glazing will also be of high thermal and acoustic performance, with argon gas chamber glass and low-emissivity coatings.
