GARCIA FAURA rehabilitates the Mercabarna Management Centre

 

The central wholesale market of Barcelona reforms its office building in order to make it more energy efficient and renew its external aesthetic. The equipment, built in 1971, amended its four sides by curtain walls and enclosures developed by GARCIA FAURA. Installation works will be completed this winter.

GARCIA FAURA in the extension of the Faculty of Law at the University of Barcelona

The University of Barcelona expands in 16,000 square meters the facilities of the Faculty of Law in the Diagonal Avenue. The new infrastructure, designed by Enric Soria and Juan Ignacio Quintana, consists of a building of four bodies aimed at keeping continuity with the historic building, dating from 1958 and winner of a FAD architecture prize. GARCIA FAURA is responsible for facades and enclosures of the new building.

GARCIA FAURA collaborates with the exhibition “Girona, temps flors”

The company provides technical support to the School of Architecture La Salle, who presented the installation "Immensity floral" in the Great Hall of the College of Architects of Catalunya. The project is the work of Lluc and Marga Nadal, and consists in a set of mirrors that creates a series of reflections from a large tapestry of flowers.
