After a change of owners and several years to start remodeling the building, it seems that during 2017 the works were completed. The company GARCIA FAURA has been contracted to perform different jobs such as facades, closures, various structures of steel and a 700m² outdoor pergola.

The new stations planned by Pere Roda and David Viaplana have come into operation this September. For these two stations GARCIA FAURA has brought experience in coating walls, stairs, beams and columns covering a total of over 1900m² with composite panel and 2200m² with aluminum checkered sheet.

With the arrival of the new school year some of these buildings will open facilities, while others will have to wait a few more months to become operational. GARCIA FAURA has continued to work this summer to meet each of the periods of work, and that those who had forecast opening for this September could be completed before the start of school activity.

During the last months GARCIA FAURA has been developing two important works in the field of health care in the delta area of Baix Llobregat. It is the construction of two new primary care centers, one located in Viladecans and the other in Sant Boi de Llobregat. They will serve a large number of population and both had long been claimed by the neighbors and the respective municipalities.

The municipality of Rubí began in 2015 the rehabilitation of the school Pau Casals, which hopes to conclude this year 2016. These works have been claimed by the population for many years ago. GARCIA FAURA provide expertise and experience in this project by installing more than 200 new aluminum windows which will replace the old closures of the school.

This Barcelona district will suffer a radical change in the coming years. It will change its industrial use for residential use and economic activities. GARCIA FAURA participates in this urban transformation with the manufacture and installation of all enclosures for this first building public housing that is located in the new street Cal Cisó. Works will be completed this year 2016.

Generalitat de Catalunya began in 2013 the project of a new high school for the Tarragona municipality, which will become operational this year 2016. GARCIA FAURA has collaborated on this project with the manufacture and installation of all metalwork, consists of more than a hundred windows and facade sheet coverage.

The Center for Art and Design of Barcelona will inaugurate its new headquarters the next school year. This is a building designed by Carme Pinós and located in the Plaza de la Gardunya, very close to the current school building. 11,000 square meters on two bodies and connected with the outdoor spaces through different entrances and areas for public use. GARCIA FAURA makes curtain wall works, solar protection and aluminum enclosures.

The University of Barcelona expands in 16,000 square meters the facilities of the Faculty of Law in the Diagonal Avenue. The new infrastructure, designed by Enric Soria and Juan Ignacio Quintana, consists of a building of four bodies aimed at keeping continuity with the historic building, dating from 1958 and winner of a FAD architecture prize. GARCIA FAURA is responsible for facades and enclosures of the new building.

The building, designed by Oscar Tusquets, will be 50 meters high and it will house businesses and traders. GARCIA FAURA runs jobs on the facade, with the manufacture and installation of modular and stick glass facades, a skylight and panel coverings. The works should be completed by the end of 2016.
