GARCIA FAURA awarded the Innovative SME label by the Spanish Ministry of Industry

GARCIA FAURA already has the Innovative SME seal awarded by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism to those companies with a great activity in R+D+i. A process that, in the case of the company specialized in the development of facades and enclosures, is transversal in the set of departments.

The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism has endorsed, through the Pyme Innovadora seal, the orientation of GARCIA FAURA towards an organisation based on research and innovation. An orientation that is born from the first of the phases, the commercial action, up to the last of the services that are given to the client.

The workflow includes interconnection platforms for the company’s value chain, solutions for advanced data processing and artificial intelligence, and industrial simulation.

The entire process is based on a continuous flow of information, from the preliminary study itself, the preparation of the budget, contracting, work orders and planning. In this phase, the Technical Office, the Commercial and Purchasing Department, among others, work together. Through the computerised flow, project plans are drawn up and manufacturing and assembly orders are generated.

The digitisation and development processes also cover administrative and service areas, from supplier relations to accounting and invoicing.

And, obviously, with special emphasis on the production phase: from the first moment the products to be manufactured and installed are designed, through all their production processes: preparation, marking, cutting and drilling, welding, drilling, assembly…

In this phase, the manufacturing orders issued by the technical department are monitored until the manufactured products reach the logistics department. From the warehouse, the products are sent to the different works in progress for installation.

All this flow of information circulates through various computer software that can also be accessed by departments such as Human Resources or Communication. The aim is that the whole company is interconnected and any project can be followed minute by minute from any strategic position in the company.
