The electronics business giant has invested €200 million in a new logistics centre, the second of its type in Spain. It is located strategically near to Barcelona’s airport and port. With a total warehousing capacity covering 210,000 m2 over various levels and constructed on a footprint of 150,000 m2, it is the largest and most modern logistics centre in the South of Spain.
GARCIA FAURA developed the set of enclosures for this expansive logistics site. In total, almost 1,200 windows were installed – the majority of which are fixed or tilt/turn and some are motorised. The main challenge of this project was meeting the works scheduling requirements, which set the bar for the installation works very high. The company used its entire production and installation capacity in this scheduled works, and as a result, completed the project successfully without compromising on quality or technical performance.
