Project to transform the Plaza de la Constitución in Viladecans, which has taken into account the construction of a new municipal market, a facilities building for organisations and private individuals, a housing block, as well as the conditioning of green areas and public access areas throughout the location. The epicentre of this new space is the market hall, with 14 indoor units and 6 outdoors. The project was wrapped up with the installation of a new Mercadona supermarket. As a result of all this, it has become the new epicentre of economic activity in the Montserratina neighbourhood and it extends the commercial axis that forms the outer pedestrian zone.
GARCIA FAURA’s activity was centred around the fabrication and installation of the set of enclosures that form the facilities building and the combination of hinged and sliding doors and windows, according to use. All of these have thermal bridge breaks to increase the performance of the buildings and the comfort of the new owners. We worked in the interior glazed sections of the commercial property and in the entrances, installing automatic doors.
