New building for the Municipal Police and the Civil Protection Department of the Lloret de Mar Council, structured as a workplace for 140 people and the offices and facilities for a police management team. The new building, which is of a highly individual appearance, has enabled the transition of the department from its previous offices to the centre of the district. The triangular shape of the building rises naturally as a response to the junction of the car park fringe, the pine forest and the main facade overlooking the road. The view of the building from this main facade is reminiscent of the prow of a ship.
For this project, predominantly vertical narrow enclosures have been manufactured and installed, custom fitted to the stone cladding of the facade. Aesthetically, they present a minimalist vision due to the narrow section of the profiling, with hidden leaf. In addition, the triangular shape of the building, has required complex composite cladding around the exterior roof of the main facade.
