Treballs de GARCIA FAURA en les façanes del futur Campus de la Universitat d’Alcalà, a Guadalajara

The company will manufacture and install curtain walls and glazing, among others, in the various buildings that will have the university equipment of the municipality of Castilla La Mancha.

GARCIA FAURA carries out the works of design, manufacture and installation of the facades of high technical performance for the different buildings that will make up the Campus of the University of Alcalá, in Guadalajara, which is scheduled to open the course 2026-2027.

The works consist of the refurbishment of the five buildings of the former Colegio de Huérfanas María Cristina and its surroundings, and the creation of a new one. All of them will be connected to each other and will have different heights and layouts.

The buildings, which will surround a landscaped square, will house the various sections of the Campus, such as administration, departments, classrooms, laboratories, meeting and assembly rooms, a coworking area and a storage area, among others.

The Campus will also have an underground car park, exhibition halls with glass walls and an outdoor pergola made of laminated steel with a galvanised finish.

The manufacturing works of the materials that will form the envelope of the buildings are carried out in the production centre of GARCIA FAURA in Gavà (Barcelona), while the installation and technical coordination is carried out from the delegation of the company in Madrid.

In this work, GARCIA FAURA will manufacture and install 1.900 square metres of curtain wall, in addition to 1.700 square metres of high performance glazing, as well as other works in façade (lattices, sunshades, enclosures…).
